March 14, 2000….The Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association Annual Meeting was held March 13 through March 14, 2000. Several Federal and State authorities including Kirk Brown, Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation provided detailed outlines on the scope of on-going and projected public projects. In addition, Governor George Ryan outlined near and long term infrastructure initiatives. This information provides key insight into the industry marketplace.
